DEBORAH MADISON - A Passion for Food
Deborah Madison is best known for her cookbooks. However, she is also known for telling the story of food - how it is grown, where it is farmed, how it travels from farm to table. Food has been her passion since childhood. She grew up in a California walnut orchard and later, via Chez Panisse and her own restaurant, Greens, in San Francisco, she taught us about the farm-driven menu.
