We enjoy reading Saveur Magazine, not only because it guides us through recipes, but because it concentrates upon specific countries or regions - or a type of food, meat, dessert, etc. Much like reading a journal, we are treated to in-depth writing and come away learning something more than how to prepare a particular dish.
