L'UOVO DUE

Multidisciplinary artist, Juliette Clovis, expresses a link between traditional and contemporary art forms in her work. 

Below, the artist creates translucent porcelain eggs using the classical Limoges technique, which she perfected while attending an art residency at the La Seynie manufacturing company (Limoges, founded in 1774).

The work is lyrical and rhythmic as sculpure and painting merge together in celebration of the ovoid form.
