Recycle

DID YOU KNOW...?
When a Coca-Cola bottle is recycled too many times, it deteriorates and is no longer useful as a container for the iconic soft drink. So, Nendo, a Japanese company known for transforming something old into something new and functional, has taken the Coca-Cola bottle and reshaped it into tableware.
From their website: "We were captivated by the particular green tint know as 'Georgia Green', and by the fine air bubbles and distortions that are a hallmark of recycled glass, so (we) decided to create simple shapes that would enhance these traits."
Nendo wanted consumers to see evidence of past use by allowing these hallmarks and other distinctions to remain as part of their new tableware - including the iconic brand name.
