Silverlake Hip

Many years ago, one of the major magazines referred to Silverlake as one of the hip neighborhoods - filled to the brim with creative, innovative people. We were new to the area and when we presented this exciting piece of information to our neighbor, Nicole, she raised her hand into the air, responding, "Again? We were hip thirty years ago!"
And so goes it. SIlverlake is now given the honor of being the #1 hippest neighborhood in America. And we agree. It was, then, and it still is...
